Just over a year after its launch, Microsoft's next-generation operating system will account for more than 50 percent of all software it ships for business users, according to IDC.
According to IDC, in 2010, Windows 7 home premium product key will account for 49.5% of the Windows operating system sold to the business, equivalent to nearly 58 versions. That's far ahead of Vista - only 15 percent of software that Microsoft plans to ship next year, or 18 million.
